Volunteers sought for ACSR projects
Starting up again after COVID-19 lockdown. Your community needs your help.
ACSR are keen to recruit volunteers to help with various projects which have been in abeyance from March. You can help volunteer for a single project, within a Working group or as a Trustee:
The Board of Trustees deal with the administration, planning, marketing & funding for the Charity.
The Core Paths Volunteers are in the early stages of a project to provide a bridge over the A9 linking Auchterarder with Gleneagles Station. An ‘Expression of Interest’ has been submitted to SUSTRANS.
Mountain Bike Trail has funding secured, with a start date for construction to be confirmed by P&K Parks & Community Green Spaces would welcome support developing the MBT. The Group are keen also keen to attract volunteers who would be interested in helping to increase and enhance the provision of equipment for the children’s play areas, which will be part of redevelopment of the whole Park.
Community Cycling Project need volunteers to help with promoting all aspects of safe cycling within the area. We have funding to deliver courses and provide’ Learn to Ride’ Sessions and Beginners Rides.
Football Development Plan for Auchterarder working with Clubs and Teams to provide football for all ages and abilities within our community.
ACSR need a small Working Group to help with the administration of the Community Area within the Pavilion in the Park. The facility is available to hire by groups able to comply with current CV-19 regulations
