Please object to submitted planning permission
It has come to our attention that a planning application to change the core path from Castleton Road to Castlemains Farm to vehicular access for a development of multiple dwellings at Norwood has been submitted and expires Wednesday 28 October.
Paths have been really important for safe active recreation in Auchterarder (especially this year where usage is up 3x) and so we are looking for community support to object to this application.
To help with your objection to PKC, you can say something similar to the text below, or just copy and paste;
I object because granting vehicular access will dramatically change one of Auchterarder’s most used local and historic footpaths (used by children to go to school daily, walkers, runners, cyclists, dog-walkers, mothers with prams, even horse riders etc). Furthermore the application goes against the Auchterarder Town Expansion Plans where this particular path was earmarked to be safeguarded as a footpath for recreational use.
The deadline for objections is 28th October at Perth & Kinross Council’s website
