Development Manager (Auchterarder and District)

£26,000 per annum (3 years fixed term)

Are you a self starter with great initiative and a passion for sport and recreation? If so, we want to hear from you.

Auchterarder Community Sport and Recreation (ACSR) is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation. The charity’s purpose is to promote and increase participation in sport and active recreations for all ages and abilities within and around the Auchterarder and district area.

We are a dynamic, progressive and successful local charity that is ready for its next phase of development. With funding from the National Lottery Community Fund, we are appointing our first paid member of staff to support the charity trustees and ensure we reach our full potential.

This is a great opportunity for a highly driven, competent and innovative individual with a successful background in sports and/or community development. You will be used to working with local community groups, volunteers and stakeholders, and will have had significant operational experience associated with the development of programmes, projects and services.

You will be knowledgeable about the legal framework in which charities operate and will demonstrate excellent administrative, financial, planning and communication skills. You will have had experience of managing the day-to-day responsibilities of a charity and will be comfortable working with a Board of charity Trustees.

This is a ‘hands on’ opportunity for an empowered individual that will help the Board develop and deliver the strategies and programmes required so that we are successful in delivering our ambitions for the community we serve.
