We are delighted to report that today (14 September) the National Lottery Communities Fund has made an award of £104,150 to support the future development and projects of ACSR.

The funding will allow our Charity to employ a full time Business Development and Projects Officer, based in Auchterarder, over a three year period. This role will support our Trustees, and all three of our working groups - Parks, Paths and Participation - in the pursuit of their active recreation and sporting goals.

Gemma Simpson, Community Sports Hub Officer for Auchterarder said:

“I’m thrilled for ACSR that the Lottery application to the Communities Fund has been approved. Having financial security in the form of Lottery Funding is very welcome during these uncertain times and we are very grateful to Lottery players across the country for helping to fund our new position, which will be the Charity’s first employee.”

The role will be advertised shortly on our website, please check back in the coming weeks for more details.
