Scottish Women and Girls In Sport Week 2023: Focus on Denise Jackson

This week is 'Scottish Women and Girls in Sport Week 2023', with a theme of 'Celebrating Inclusion for Women & Girls in Sport & Physical Activity'.

It is a perfect time for us to thank someone who has been integral to the development of ACSR since 2012 - and to encouraging more women and girls to participate in sport and recreation activities for far longer than that: Denise Jackson.

Denise receiving a presentation at the 2023 AGM to thank her for her tireless energy, input and passion during her time as ACSR Chairperson.

Denise is now our former Chairperson, having stood down from the role at our AGM at the end of September. However, don't worry, Denise remains a key driver and crucial contributor to ACSR - and has now taken on the role of Chair of our 'Sport & Recreation Working Group'!
