Pavilion Opening Project Successfully Complete

Our 2024 Pavilion opening project is now complete - with the project fulfilling its aim of providing a bathroom facility for park users at weekends, as well as enabling people to learn more about ACSR and the projects being delivered by our volunteer Working Groups (Auchterarder Core Paths Working Group, Auchterarder Green Spaces Working Group and Sport & Recreation, including ACSR Cycle Hub and Auchterarder Pickleball Club), while also being able to grab a tea/coffee etc.

We would like to thank everyone who made the project possible: our Charity Assistant Louise Mackay and our Development Manager Tim Hart (both of whom facilitated the opening of the pavilion), our cleaner Jola Lyko (who helped to keep the Pavilion looking immaculate throughout) and Perth & Kinross Council (who provided funding through their Community Investment Fund).

The final thanks is to everyone within the community who came to visit and utilise the facility: 527 visits over the 27 days of being open!

The Auchterarder Green Spaces Working Group is continuing to develop a project which will provide a permanent bathroom solution for the public park: more details, including how you can #BeActiveBeInvolved and contribute directly, are available here: https://localgiving.org/fundraising/ACSRWooWooToilet.
