Park Funding Update

The Park Re-Development Project remains a key workstream for ACSR, as we aim to upgrade the Children’s Play Park, add a Mountain Bike Skills Area and install a Pump Track.

The hope is that the work will be completed in distinct phases - with each phase having specific funder, and funding, targets.

September saw significant funding confirmed towards the upgrade of the Children’s Play Park - with £100,000 being pledged by the Auchterarder Community Facilities Fund and £10,000 from the Garfield Weston Foundation. We thank both funders for their support as we continue to work to make the town a better, and more accessible, place for all the community.

While these successes are welcomed, there is still much work to do - with four applications pending, another two due to be submitted by the end of October and some further exciting news to follow soon…
