Mill Lade Path Upgrade Completed

Following feedback from our Core Paths Working Group, and local residents, we undertook to upgrade the Mill Lade path - a vital link path within our Core Paths Network.

• An external survey from Paths for All created a project specification document.

• This then enabled us to seek funding - and we are grateful to the Community Environment Challenge Fund (Perth & Kinross Council) and the Rural Perth & Kinross Local Action Group (LAG) for their support.

• With the funding in place, the next step was to recruit a contractor - and we were delighted that we were able to appoint a Perthshire based contractor: J.M. Dewar Contractors.

Work began on Thursday 4th May 2023, was completed on Thursday 11th May…and our upgraded path is fully open again! (There will be one new sign and two new benches to follow - so keep a lookout for these, too!)
