Jubilee Torch Lighting - A Glowing Success

As part of a series of celebrations to mark the historical Platinum Jubilee, a ‘Jubilee Beacon’ was lit in Auchterarder Public Park.

Taking place immediately outside the Pavilion, it was a great opportunity for ACSR to play a small part in a fantastic, and nostalgic, evening. There was a display in the Pavilion, lots of great reminiscing, a real community feel to the evening, a guest appearance from an ice-cream van…and the lighting of the Beacon itself.
