Cycling to Success

Sunday 23rd July 2023 saw ACSR host the ‘ACSR Bike Extravaganza’

Our aim was to provide an entertaining and engaging event, which would promote active travel and cycling and which would showcase the upcoming 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships.

With some help from the weather, there was a great family-orientated day featuring:

  • bicycle safety checks

  • cycle orienteering

  • ice cream

  • pump track riding opportunities

  • smoothie making

  • stunt shows

  • trishaw rides

  • wild food kitchen

  • plus the opportunity to contribute to towards the fundraising for ACSR’s new Pump Track and the opportunity to contribute ideas on how ACSR can further develop cycling within the town
